2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS2/RS 2010 RAFFLE RULES
1. The Grand Prize in the Logan County United Way Camaro Raffle will be a new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS2/RS.
The approximate value of all combined prizes including the car is over $39,155 MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price)
and is based on estimated MSRP pricing at the time of Grand Prize drawing.
2. No more than 4,500 tickets will be sold. Any ticket forms and money turned in after the closure of the raffle will be returned
to the buyer. All ticket forms will be recorded in the order in which they are received. Any checks or purchases received after the 4,500 tickets are sold will be rejected and returned to the buyer.
3. Based upon 4,500 tickets being sold, each ticket has a 1-in-4,500 chance of winning the Grand Prize.
4. The purchase price of one raffle ticket is $20.00. Payments may be made by credit card by calling 937-592-2886.
We accept only VISA and MasterCard credit cards. Checks or money orders should be made payable to
"United Way of Logan County, Inc.” A check or money order must be attached to a completed form and mailed to:
United Way of Logan County, Inc., 122 North Main Street, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Upon receipt of either a credit card payment,
or a completed certificate with payment, ticket(s) will be mailed within ten (10) business days. If an entrant's check or credit card is
dishonored by the bank, the entry certificate will be declared invalid unless and until full payment is made prior to the drawing.
Any dishonored check will be considered an invalid entry and the entrant will be notified by mail. Payments are not tax-deductible
contributions. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
5. The Logan County United Way raffle will run from December 15, 2009 to April 14, 2010. ( Due to low ticket sales the raffle has been extended. The drawing will be on September 15th at the United Way kick-off on the Bellefontaine Courthouse Lawn at noon!!
6. The Logan County United Way drawing will be held at the United Way of Logan Co. Annual Meeting to be held
at the Don M & Margaret Hilliker YMCA on April 21, 2010. The purchaser(s) of the winning ticket need not be present to win.
7. More than one name may be stated on the certificate registration form. The winner(s) must provide their Social Security number(s).
Delivery of the prize will be made solely to the entrant(s). It is the sole responsibility of the entrants in a multiple party entry to
allocate the prize among themselves.
8. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.
9. Names and likenesses of the winner(s) will be available to the media and all Raffle participants via the
Logan County United Way website (www.uwlogan.org) for a minimum of 60 days after the end of the raffle.
10. Winner must take delivery from Steve Austin’s Auto Group, Inc., a Chevrolet dealer, within two weeks of the drawing.
For delivery elsewhere, arrangements can be made at winner's expense.
11. Prior to delivery United Way of Logan County, Inc. will collect from the winner withholding tax and forward it to the I.R.S., in the amount of 25%, based upon the value of the car.
12.It is the Entrant’s responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address and email address to: United Way of Logan County, Inc.
which, along with its agents, Board, vendors, volunteers and members assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete,
illegible, undelivered entries or entries without proper payment received, which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately
disqualified and deemed void.
13. United Way of Logan County Inc. employees and Board members are not eligible to participate in this Raffle.
14. The Logan County United Way will be responsible for paying the licensing, title transfer and local sales tax fees on behalf of the
winner(s). Winner(s) will assume and be responsible for all other local, state and federal fees and taxes, including without limitation all
applicable use, luxury, income and special taxes. United Way of Logan County, Inc. DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE CHEVROLET CAMARO.
15. Entrants, by participating (and Winner(s), by accepting the Grand Prize) release United Way of Logan County, Inc. and its board,
committee members, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors,
and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the Grand Prize awarded.
16. In the event that a minimum of 2,500 Raffle tickets are not sold by April 1, 2010, United Way of Logan County, Inc. will convert the
Raffle Grand Prize into a 50/50 split-the-pot drawing of all monies collected minus expenses, and the car dealer will be released from its
contract regarding the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.
17. The decision of the United Way of Logan County, Inc. and its Auditors shall be final on all matters concerning the drawing.
18. United Way of Logan County, Inc. may at any time modify, revise, or update these Official Rules to correct any errors,
omissions or changes to the Raffle, in its sole discretion. By participating in the Raffle you accept and are bound by its rules, as amended without prior notice.
19. Net proceeds of the Raffle shall solely benefit the mission of the United Way of Logan County, Inc.
20. The purchase of tickets for this Raffle is void where prohibited by law.
